What information is required for you to quote for a bespoke polished concrete item?
Detailed description of the required items or images to demonstrate. All dimensions of the item/s. Drawings for more complex projects. Computerised images of finished project, where appropriate. Location for delivery and / or installation purposes.
Can you provide technical drawings for larger projects?
Yes, we can provide CAD drawings – this would carry an additional charge.
Are your quotes able to include legs made from a different material – e.g wood / metal?
Yes, we work closely with joiners and metal fabricators so we are able to quote for the complete piece.
Can we visit the workshop to view your work?

Where can we view the styles/textures available?

Can you colour match?
We can also colour match to anything you require for an additional cost.
Can we order colour samples?
Yes, you can order colour samples. There is a charge for this service, plus postage costs, but this would be deducted from any resulting order, or refunded if the samples are returned.
Are your products made from micro-cement?
No, micro-cement is a coating layered onto MDF board / plywood. All of our products are made from GRC concrete and solid all the way through.
What is the weight of the concrete?
Approximately 40kg per square metre.
What is the minimum thickness of the concrete?
25mm is the minimum thickness but can vary according to design.
How are larger pieces reinforced?
All our pieces are glass fibre reinforced. For larger pieces the addition of basalt rods or post tensioning will give our pieces the strength they need.
Will the concrete scratch or stain?
As long as the care and maintenance instructions are adhered to your concrete piece will remain scratch and stain free.
Do you provide the instructions on care and maintenance of concrete products?
Yes, we have a Gecko Care and Maintenance guide which is provided to all our customers.
Are concrete items suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, concrete works very well outside in all weathers due to its durability, low maintenance and versatility.
What is the lead time for an order?
This will vary depending on the complexity of the required items and volume of pending jobs. You will be given an estimated lead time at the point of your enquiry and then a definitive time slot once the order is confirmed.
Do your prices include delivery and installation?
Most prices will include palleted delivery. This will be made clear in your quote. Installation would be charged as an additional cost and would be calculated as appropriate to the individual job.
